1975 BMW EV Resto-mod is the perfect classic car for London. Jonny Smith visits Jerry Dhillon who has commissioned his ideal classic BMW for London city life. Based on a 1975 1602 model, Jerry had Electric Classic Cars in Wales perform a ground-up restoration, followed by an EV conversion that provides ample performance (120bhp, 7.5 0-62) and a real world range of 150 miles. Jonny drives Jerry’s one-off classic project in the urban capital environment that it was designed for.
