Hop in our 2022 IONIQ 5 for the final few hundred miles to the edge of Washington State!
After starting at the easternmost point of the United States in Maine several weeks prior, we drive until there’s no more road to head west in the lower 48 states. On the way we see a snapshot of 2024 public fast charging in Ellensburg, the patchwork of US EV adoption in North Bend, coffee and cable cutters in Seattle, and the many splendid sights/hikes of Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park.
When the road runs out, we hike a couple more miles to reach rugged coastal scenery that looks strikingly like the spot where we started it all 4,000+ miles ago.

Thanks to friend of the channel Anthony for acting as our EV sherpa in Seattle and everyone else who sent tips and well wishes along the way. It was an eye-opening trip that reinforced the changing face of electric vehicles and EV charging across the US and just how comfortable all-electric travel now is with just a little planning.
