Alpine A110 R – The Underrated Sports Car Not Sold In America

Alpine invited me to the Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix, ahead of which I was able to get some seat time in the Alpine A110 R, a light weight sports car that isn’t sold on US shores. The A110 R brings an appealing formula: small, low weight, relatively soft suspension with relatively long travel, and a relatively high amount of horsepower. All combined, it made for some fantastic laps at The Concours Club in Miami.
The video will talk through how weight was pulled out for the A110 R versus the A110 S, how the aerodynamic features have been modified and the balance shifted, and the driving differences between the A110 GT and the A110 R.
