I now appreciate how Tesla have simplified the users experience and operation of the vehicle. They have automated so many steps which we just take for granted when operating a traditional vehicle. After driving an older Tesla Model S for the last two years and now going back into a much newer Hyundai Ioniq EV, there are just so many buttons to push and in the right order. It’s all unnecessary! In a Tesla, there’s only one press of a button on entry and exit. In the Ioniq, its five button pushes on entry and four button pushes on exit. It’s the same with other traditional manufacturers too. In fact, there’s often more, because you have to select your preferred regen mode every time.
