In this video I visit the world’s first Tesla V4 Supercharger site that has the new contactless payment terminals. This was a Tesla Service Centre site in Tottenham, London where there are 12 of the new V4 stalls, delivering up to 250kW. These are open to non-Tesla, so all EVs can use these and they’re fitted with CCS2 plugs with long cables to reach the charge port on any electric vehicle. This means non-Tesla owners can use these new V4 Superchargers without using the Tesla app or requiring a Tesla account. I test this by using my credit card on the contactless payment terminal to charge my Hyundai Ioniq EV.
