This video is a walk around of some GigaTexas (Austin) Tesla Model Ys that I found in the Tesla customer delivery parking lot this morning!
In this video, I show you what changes, if any, Tesla had made to the Austin Model Ys, we will look at build quality progress from manufacturing validation units from early April 2022 to late May 2022, and I’ll go underneath the Tesla Model Y and show you what the structural battery pack looks like from the outside (this EV battery pack is noticeably different).
Based on what I can see, Tesla is close to delivering the 4680 cells and structural battery pack made in Austin, TX to customers very soon. I am impressed with the latest Austin Tesla Model Y build quality, and I believe these Model Ys may be some of the best Tesla has manufactured to date!
