In this instalment, one of the marque’s #Bespoke lacquer specialists explores the technical challenges in creating a striking dragon motif, designed to honour the 2024 Lunar New Year commencing on 10 February.
The specialist realised the complex, three-dimensional motif with multiple hues of red, skilfully layered in four stages. Additional darker red layers add detail and depth, creating the impression that the dragon is carved into the fascia.
