New 2025 ‘T7’ Volkswagen California first look – Best Vanlife VW camper yet? Jonny Smith goes to Spain to have a detailed first tour around what replaces the T6 camper van. This won’t be the T7, as that is the commercial van partnership with Ford’s Transit. Instead, VW are using their Multivan as the base vehicle, which uses the MQB car platform. In other words this drives more like a Golf than a T6.1.
