To celebrate the fact that Tim has finally decided to go German and buy a Porsche 912 it’s time to take him out in one of the most powerful Porsches we’d ever built.
This car was built by renowned Porsche specialist https://www.william-francis.com/ as the ultimate homage to the 1973 911 RS. The standard of the build and the parts chosen are a testament to the quality that Charlie at William Francis puts out. The Porsche 911 was then converted to electric using our standard Porsche 911 conversion kit.
The 1973 911 RS was, for me, the original supercar that can be driven regularly. There were supercars, like the Lamborghini Miura that came before but they didn’t have the practicality of the 911.
Power comes from a Tesla motor in the rear @ 450hp with a battery pack of 53kWh giving it a range of 150 miles. Other upgrades include the "Tuthill Porsche" brake calipers all around and air conditioning to keep you cool.
Handling is improved due to upgraded suspension and HD anti-roll bars front and rear and better weight distribution. Which makes it handle more like a modern 987 (Cayman) than the tail happy 911 of old.
And for those that might be interested in buying Tim’s lovely Austin Healey here’s the link:
