Tesla auto wipers have never worked very well. Well certainly not in the UK drizzle.
Tesla uses the front facing cameras and software to detect rain on the windscreen, whereas all other manufacturers use a dedicated rain sensor. In the typical Tesla fashion, they stopped fitting rain sensors before the software alternative was ready. So for years, the auto wipers have never worked quite as well as other vehicles. But now in June/July 2024 via an over-the-update, Tesla has finally sorted the auto wipers.
