How to replace a faulty touch screen in a Nissan Leaf (or E-NV200)

In this video I repair the touch screen in a Nissan Leaf. A fairly common issue on the infotainment screen in a Nissan Leaf is that part of the touch screen can stop working and does not respond to touch. Most commonly, it is the right side of the screen that stops working, which means you can’t press the back button on the screen. A re-calibration of the screen can sometimes resolve this, which I cover in this video https://youtu.be/xvFwdS_mRRc
But if that doesn’t work, the touch screen, called the digitizer, needs to be replaced. In this video I show you how you can replace the screen and do a cheap DIY repair.
This affects the following models:
Nissan Leaf 24kWh
Nissan Leaf 30kWh
Nissan E-NV200 Tekna van, both 24kWh & 40kWh
Nissan E-NV200 Evalia, all models
