Tesla’s have automatic climate control where you just set your desired temperature the rest (air flow direction, fan speed, defogging etc) is automatically controlled by the car. However, you can override this and put it in manual mode where you have full control. This might be handy if you have cold feet and want to direct 100% of the warm air to your feet.
What is clever with the Tesla interface is that all the "buttons" for manual controls are removed from the screen when in Auto mode, so there’s less clutter. But this can confuse some new owners as it looks like it’s missing these options.
