In this video I’m driving my HW3 Tesla Model Y on Autopilot on a rural A-road to show how sometimes the lane centring can be poor on bends. In this case, there was oncoming traffic and the road was narrow where I needed to get over to the verge more otherwise there was a risk of clashing mirrors. At times like this you simply steer over, Autopilot disengages and then you can reengage it if you wish too.
The vehicle in this video is a 2024 Tesla Model Y RWD (MCU3/HW3) with the 62.5kWh (60,5 kWh usable) LFP battery and at the time of filming this running on software version 20256.8.
