Update on the new EV chargers at Welcome Break Oxford services, M40. Nearly four months after installation, the 10 new Applegreen 400kW ultra-rapid chargers and 16 new Tesla Superchargers, they still remain switched off and covered up. What’s going on? I assume they’re waiting for a new grid connection upgrade.
Once these go live, they’ll be 54 EV charging bays at this site. This is really welcome and long overdue as this has always been a poor services for EV charging, particularly if you’re not driving a Tesla.
