In this video I change the oil in the transfer box and both the front and rear differentials on my 2021 Nissan Navara NP300 pickup. I do not change the oil in the automatic transmission, as that will be another job.
I go through the correct oil specifications for front and rear differentials and the transfer case, plus the torque values for the drain & fill plugs.
The vehicle is a 2021 Nissan Navara N-Guard automatic (NP300 D23). These trucks are also the Nissan Frontier, Renault Alaskan, Mercedes-Benz X-Class, Dongfeng Rich 6 & Dongfeng Rich 7.
This was filmed in May 2025.
For my 2021 model, the Nissan oil specifications are:
Front differential: Nissan Differential oil Hypoid Super GL-5 80W-90 0.85 ltr
Rear differential: Nissan Hypoid S1 GL-5 75W-80 3.5 ltrs
Transfer: Nissan ATF D3M 1.5 ltr
