This quick (charge) video takes a look at an Electrify America site on Long Island in New York, where EA has retrofitted old BTC Power hardware with its latest generation of chargers.
We test the charge rate on Hyundai Ioniq 5 and look at how the lengthy cable management system could help EV drivers with awkwardly-positioned charge ports (hint: us! We have to think about positioning for DCFC far more often in the I5 than we ever did in the Bolt EV).
The "Quick Charge" series, if it stays thus named, will be used to share interesting snippets from the road that don’t make it into other videos (or those that do, but get submerged in the broader topic or trip). As always, let us know what you think of the format and anything you’d like to see done differently.
