Did you know your Tesla actually has TWO completely different voice control systems? In this short I show you exactly how to access both of them using just the right scroll wheel.
The original Tesla voice system is still there — just give the wheel a quick press. Want to talk to Grok instead? Hold the same scroll wheel down a little longer. It’s that simple!
I also show you how to enable "Hey Grok" in the settings so you can summon Grok completely hands-free. A lot of people think installing Grok removes the original Tesla voice assistant — that’s not true at all. The two systems work side by side.
Perfect for anyone with an AMD Ryzen-powered Tesla. Stop pressing the button too long and accidentally triggering the wrong assistant!
The vehicle in this video is a 2024 Tesla Model Y RWD (MCU3/Ryzen/HW3) with the 62.5kWh (60,5 kWh usable) LFP battery and at the time of filming it’s running on software version 2026.20.
