Video by Matt Goes Electric via YouTube
This video shows you how to access the 12V battery battery terminals under the bonnet on a 2023 Ford e-Transit electric van. If your 12V battery is dead or low, you use these terminals to either jump start your van or to charge the 12V battery. The negative stud is difficult to find and is one of the bonnet hinge bolts, but it is covered with a rubber boot.
The 12 volt battery is located underneath the driver’s seat, which makes access awkward. To access this to change the 12V battery, see https://youtu.be/fy6-JA6BCOw
The van featured is a 2023 Ford e-Transit 350 Trend L2 H2 with a 198kW (269 PS) motor and a 68 kWh battery pack.
This video was filmed in November 2024.
