Be careful with your Hyundai (or Kia) door handles. Our Ioniq EV has broken door handles.

This video is about weak door handles on Hyundai cars. Both rear door handles on our 2020 Hyundai Ioniq Electric (38kWh) snapped during the cold winter months and then I discovered one had previously broken and glued back together by the previous owner. And all of this was when the vehicle was only two years old and done only 15,000 miles! From what I’ve since read, its a common issue with this handle design and effects many Hyundai and Kia models and will get replaced under warranty. However, its not a quick job as the handle has to get painted. So its best to just be careful with the handles and not pull them too hard, particular when its cold and the plastic is brittle.
