What happens if you run out of charge in your electric car? The battery is dead and you’re stranded. Well what if there was an easy way to get energy back into that battery pack? If you spot a Ford Raptor nearby, you don’t need to be towed the full distance home, because electric cars can use regenerative braking to recharge the battery. That means as the Raptor is driving and towing the Tesla, the Tesla is braking with its electric motors, capturing energy from the Raptor’s fuel, and turning it into useful charge in the battery.
