I this video I show you when and how the Maxus eDeliver 3 (EV30) electric van charges up the 12V auxiliary battery. Electric vehicles do not have an alternator, so use a DC-DC converter to charge the 12V battery from the main 400V traction battery while you drive. The battery is also charged while the vehicle is charging on AC power.
I’ve not tested if the 12V battery charges while the vehicle DC rapid charges, but its likely it doesn’t.
