Join us for a quick trip up I-95 to Maine, where the first US install of the new ChargePoint Express Plus fast charge stations was recently completed.
Coming at the same time as Electrify America’s site upgrades to fourth generation hardware from BTC Power and Signet, we were eager to check out the capabilities of the Express Plus and push their power limits with our 2022 Hyundai IONIQ 5.
Our session(s) show the ups and downs of a new install, the ins and outs of ChargePoint’s modular power block system, and how the Express Plus compares to the older yet highly reliable CPE250 hardware. Conveniently, we had the latter right next to us at this site and the wonderful MINI Cooper SE charging at the same time, making a direct comparisons quick and easy.
