Don’t get locked out of a rented rivian because the rental company will typically not be able to unlock it remotely. Rivian will only remotely unlock a vehicle for the owner. In this video I show you two settings to change in the Rivian to prevent yourself from being locked out. When you rent a Rivian your typically given a key fob and unlike when you own the vehicle you do not have backup key cards or app access. To further complicate things you can’t get help from Rivian because your not the owner of the vehicle. This video will help greatly reduce the likelihood of getting locked out of your rented Rivian vehicle.
