It’s time to give you a tour around one of the best restored cars we’ve ever seen here at the Electric Classic Cars workshop, the 1971 Triumph Vitesse Mk2. Last on the road in the 1980s this Triumph is now ready for the 21st century.

The electric conversion includes a Netgain Hyper9 motor and 30 kWh battery pack, which keeps the weight similar to when it was petrol powered. Originally this had a 2 litre straight 6 engine producing 95hp. Now, with the Hyper 9 motor it’s giving out 120hp peak.
