Elon Musk Just Revealed New Twitter Plans

Also of note, he supported Ukraine during the conflict. All this has made him open to becoming the owner of Twitter, one of the most popular social media networks.

Let’s go ahead and get started. Earlier this month, Elon Musk purchased a 9.2 percent stake in Twitter. And the word got out pretty rapidly on the internet. The software millionaire was promptly offered a position on Twitter’s board of directors, which he politely declined. Things moved swiftly. As few expected, a bid for the entire stock of Twitter has now been made for $43 billion by the world’s richest man.
Questions outnumber answers in the proposal. According to an SEC filing by Elon Musk, the $43 billion prices is the best and final offer if the purchase of Twitter fails, which Musk has already claimed is his backup plan.
In sum, this translates to a share price of $54.20. According to his estimations, a higher price will please shareholders and make Musk happy. He won’t have to sell any Tesla stock to buy Twitter because his offer was turned down by Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal and his company Kingdom Holding, which has a sizable stake in the social media network.
There was no choice except for the Tesla entrepreneur to return to his wallet. Elon Musk’s suggested offer of $54.20 a share does not appear to be the case. The Prince tweeted that he had rejected Elon’s offer, and I concurred. One of Twitter’s largest and most steadfast shareholders, he has a stake in the company that dates back to its inception. It was business as usual for Elon Musk to respond promptly with a tweet with more information than first.
