The UK electric vehicle charging infrastructure is growing as sites are getting new upgraded grid connections. There’s been a 47% increase in the number of chargers in the last year alone.
In this video, I visited the Welcome Break Warwick Southbound Services on the M40 and looked at the EV charging facilities.
These services, located between J13 and J12, have recently seen some expansion, but in the same scale as some of the other services featured on this channel.
There were originally two Gridserve 50kW dual headed chargers and 8 Tesla V2 Superchargers.
But now there are an additional 8 Applegreen 180kW chargers, serving two vehicles at a time.
So this now brings the total number of DC rapid charging bays to 28 at the Warwick M40 Southbound Services.
Warwick Southbound Services address: Banbury Road, Ashorne, Warwickshire, CV35 0AA
