Our Model Y adventures take us to a cool tour through the Forestville / Mystery Cave State Park, then up to Whitewater State Park for splashing & Swimming as we explore new places in southern Minnesota. Driving to new spots in an EV is easy, even if charging isn’t available exactly where you are. We simply wrapped a stop at the Tesla Supercharger in Rochester, MN into our plans for the day. One stop was plenty to keep us rolling and get us home with energy to spare.
These are the kinds of places I usually drive past on bigger road trips, but they offer a lot of fun and adventure close to home and without the cost of getting a hotel or other accommodations. Great for families with younger children to blend in some education, and right sized activities.
