In this video I just have a little moan about the design of the powertrain switchgear in Stellantis electric vehicles. I think it’s a poor design and not easy to use, yet they keep rolling out the same switchgear across most of their electric vehicles across many brands.
The Stellantis Group include Peugeot, Citroen, DS Automobiles, Opel, Vauxhall, Fiat, Jeep, Abarth, Chrysler, Alfa Romeo, Dodge, RAM, Lancia & Maserati. While not all these brands have EVs in the range yet, they seem to be sticking with the same switchgear. Stellantis vehicles are also rebranded by other manufacturers too. For example, some Toyota vans are made by Stallantis and the electric Proace for example has this same switchgear.
