EV fuel costs in August 2023 (in the UK, driving a Hyundai Ioniq Electric in the summer)

In this video, I just wanted to highlight the costs of running an electric vehicle, which is at odds with what the mainstream media keeps telling us. Okay I admit, using the Hyundai Ioniq 38kWh at its most efficient summer driving is at the far end of the scale and an example of ultimate efficiency which many other EVs can’t achieve. But then these cars are more affordable (in relation to other EVs) and some owners run them even cheaper if they have home solar, access to free charging or even drive more efficiently.
This was meant to be a YouTube Short, but I couldn’t get it down to the 60 second requirement.
