EV6 GT real world review – Christmas Euro road trip in most powerful Kia ever. The near 600hp GT EV6 is Kia’s new flagship performance car, which happens to be electric. Jonny reviews the 263-mile range supercar performing family EV by driving across to Belgium to buy some baubles and beer.
Having lived with the lower trim EV6 cars Jonny loved the dual motor 316-mile range car in GT Line trim, but also heavy rates the highest range single motor rwd car that is capable of a theoretical WLTP of 328 miles. Is the GT worth £63k because it has Taycan bothering performance, or would Jonny rather have a cheaper version that still isn’t exactly slow?

The EV6 range starts at £45,000, but the GT model touches £63,000 and is capable of Lamborghini/Porsche 0-62 performance of 3.5 seconds and 162mph top speed, together with GT adaptive suspension and drive modes. Battery size remains the same at 77.4kWh, but weight rises by 100kg to become 2.2 tonnes (although EVs are known to carry their weight lower in the chassis).
