Openreach have just added their 4,000th electric vehicle, an all-electric van, to their fleet. They operate the second largest fleet in the UK and are continuing to add zero emission electric vehicles to the fleet when vehicles need to be replaced.
They are also installing 8,500 EV chargers at engineer’s homes and their commercial sites and more will be installed as the electric fleet grows.
So if electric vehicles didn’t work, you’d think companies like this wouldn’t be making the investment.
