Today I was in the Wesgate Shopping Centre carpark in Oxford, where there are 50 electric vehicle chargers. These have been free to use. You have to pay for parking, but the EV charging has been free. However, this now changes from Monday 3rd July 2023. I’m surprised that they haven’t done this sooner. So from next week, you will need to use the SWARCO eConnect app to use the chargers.
My only doubt with this though, is the phone app work in an underground car park with very poor signal???
