If you have no off-street parking and your town has no rapid chargers, I don’t blame you if you don’t want an EV right now.
I live in Canterbury in the UK. Loads of people in the area have EVs but, strangely, there’s just one public rapid charger! Nothing has changed in the five years I’ve lived here.
There’s simply no excuse. Fantastic, reliable charging networks like Osprey and Instavolt are always on the look out for land they can put chargers on. They do this for free. FREE! All they need is for land owners like councils to agree to a long lease. Easy!
So that’s for installing a few chargers in a car park, but what if we have more grand ambitions? Let’s look at the Oxford Energy Superhub where a Pivot Power and others have built an amazing facility that other councils should be falling over themselves to copy.
So, is your town lacking some chargers? Forward the council this video and tell them to talk to Osprey and Instavolt!
