Heater(s!) in the eNV200

So I was about to rip the last bits out of the eNV200 before I send her to scrap, especially when I found out that a new PTC Electric heater is $3,000 from Nissan Australia which is utterly insane!

But then I started chasing wires, tearing up carpet, etc, and turns out I have TWO heaters! There’s one under the dash and one under the drivers seat.

Might rip the underseat out and use just that, because no need to have two heaters in the Thunderbuck. The cabin is like 10% the volume of the van, so that big thumping heater may just do the trick for me!

I’d genuinely hate to see what the consumption is like on those two heaters too, running 2 heaters must do wonders for the battery consumption, probably the single most wasteful way to make heat is to use electricity directly.

It’s a shame that we legally need a heater in Australia as a demister, despite the fact that the eNV200 setup runs a coolant loop and therefore I could use the waste heat heater that’s already under the dashboard.
