How much does VinFast VF9 in the US cost? | New Auto&Vehicles EV
On November 25, VinFast became the first Vietnamese automaker to export a batch of 999 VF8 electric cars to the US, from MPC Port, Hai An district.

After the US market, VinFast will continue to export VF8 to Canada and Europe for handover in 2023. The company currently announced the number of 65,000 orders for VF8 and VF9 in the international market.

The VF9 is the leading and most advanced electric car model of the Vietnamese automaker, with a rather large size with an overall measurement of 5,118 mm long, 2,254 mm wide, and 1,696 mm high. With this size, the VF9 is as big as the Ford Explorer, Hyundai Palisade, or Volkswagen Teramont.
Despite being an electric car, the front end of the VinFast VF9 still has 2 trapezoidal design air intakes right below the typical bird-shaped LED daytime running lights of the Vietnamese car company.
The car is equipped with small fog lights placed close to the bottom. While the rear of the car stands out with the LED taillights connected.
The VinFast VF9 is equipped with 21-inch wheels for the Plus version, the largest size compared to SUV models currently distributed in the Vietnamese market, accompanied by a set of 275/40 tires. Meanwhile, the door handle is hidden in the body, completely different from other models of the same brand.
The interior space of VinFast VF9 has a familiar layout, similar to VF8. All vehicle information is displayed in the center display. The rear seats have an extra screen placed in the middle, and behind the two front seats are also arranged USB charging ports.
The VF9 will be introduced to the US market with the first two battery versions, with a range of up to 272 miles and 369 miles when fully charged for the Eco version, and 262 miles and 360 miles for the Plus version.
The Eco version and the Plus Version VF9 both accelerate 0-60mph in about 6.3 seconds. The Eco VF9 has a starting price of $55,500 for the battery version 1 and $56,000 for the battery version 2. Similarly, battery versions 1 and 2 of the Plus VF9 are priced at $60,500 and $61,000, respectively. Battery version 1 will be available in the US market in 2022, with version 2 following in 2023.

Autonomy planned to order 400 VinFast VF8 and VF9 cars. However, after consideration, Autonomy officially increased the order number to more than 2,500 vehicles. According to the agreement, VinFast will hand over the car to Autonomy within 12 months from the time it starts exporting cars to international markets
