IONIQ 5 2k mile challenge, part 1: Canterbury to Land's End

Back in 2020 I completed a challenge for charity: 2,000 Great British miles in three days in my Kia e-Niro, including the famous Land’s End to John O’Groats. One year later and I wanted to do the same in my Hyundai IONIQ 5. This is the video of that journey. And yes, it really has taken me one year to edit it!

Why go through it all again? I wanted to see if the charging network had improved, and if the IONIQ 5’s amazing charge speed would make things easier.

This time I also had A Better Route Planner linked up to Tronity so it could plan my journey on the fly. That should help, right?!

Obviously this video being a year late renders some of it out of date although, actually, judging by some of the horror stories I read on Twitter, in some ways not much has improved!
