IONIQ 5 is sold. Did we make a profit?

After a less than a year of ownership, IONIQ 5 has now found a new home. 😭

Here’s how the sale went, including the difficulties of selling a car with outstanding finance, and how much it cost us in the end (including fixing the alloy wheel I stupidly scratched).

I’m so sad to see it go. Wonderful machine.

What I didn’t mention in the video was the terms of the PCP deal we got. It was direct with Hyundai Finance (through the dealer).

37 months
36 monthly payments of £500.41
Balloon payment: £23,567.52

Cash price (including VAT): £49,168.00
Advance payment: £12,000
Amount of credit: £37,168.00
Total amount payable: £53,582.28

Total interest: £4,414.28

Interest on the amount of credit: 2.47%
APR: 4.8%

Obviously we terminated the deal early so that’s all moot, but I thought I’d mention it if you’re interested!
