Yes this is a Tesla but many of the current breed of new electric cars are similarly capable both in terms of range and charge speed. In fact many actually charge faster than this Tesla !

So seriously, hopefully you can see here that charging when on a long road trip really isn’t a bother. You usually need a break anyway, or at least the toilet, and you can do other things whilst charging like each lunch!
So this is just a vlog as I head up to Scotland including Glasgow, Edinburgh and then on to Inverness…. And more … 😉

What cars charge faster…? We’ll this 2019 Tesla is actually only 150kw capable so here are my thoughts on a few EVs that have higher charger speeds
Tesla Model 3 or Y (standard SR or Long Range)
Kia EV
Hyundai Ioniq 5
BMW i4 incl M50
VW ID4 / Skoda Enyak
Porsche Taycan
Audi Etron GT
And MANY more!
However what this Tesla lacks in charge speed it makes up for with good efficiency and a large battery for some pretty impressive real world range over 300 miles. In fact I could drive from the South coast to Scotland without even stopping! However, my bladder cannot…
