Is manual pre-conditioning possible in a Maxus eDeliver 3 electric van?

Following on from a video I made about the winter range in a Maxus eDeliver 3 electric van, I made this video to answer the question…."Can you run the heater while the van is plugged into the charger?" i.e. can you manually pre-condition the van to retain 100% SoC in your battery?
So I test that in this video and initially it would not work. The heater does work, but the power is coming from the traction battery. Then later in the day, I tried again when the battery wasn’t full and it would charge at the same time as heating. The reality is though that most drivers would want to pre-conditioning their vehicle in the morning when the battery is already fully charged, so for most, the answer is "no".
