New generation Maserati GranTurismo – electric luxury car #short
Besides the traditional petrol engine, the Italian automaker launched the first electric sports model called Folgore. Maserati GranTurismo has three engine versions with different designs including the Modena, the V6-powered Trofeo, and the all-electric Folgore
The highlight is the electric version, which is Maserati’s most powerful engine. The GranTurismo Folgore uses three permanent magnet electric motors, producing 402 hp each and a T-shaped 92.5 kWh battery pack using technology from Formula E. Total output is 751 hp and torque twist 1,350 Nm. Power is transmitted to all four wheels with the help of torque vectoring. In addition to the standard 5 driving modes including Comfort, GT, Sport, Corsa, and ESC-Off, Folgore adds a driving mode called Max Range
