When charging a Tesla, the charger is displayed on the screen and this graphic changes to match what you’re plugged into, in this case a V4 Supercharger. Initially when this charging graphic was introduced via a free over the air update, all Tesla Superchargers were displayed on the screen as V3 Superchargers. But now, following a subsequent update, the graphics now match the V3 or V4 Supercharger you’re actually using.
This video was filmed while charging at the M4 Westbound Reading Moto Services on a wet winters day.
The vehicle in this video is a 2024 Tesla Model Y RWD (MCU3/Ryzen/HW3) with the 62.5kWh (60,5 kWh usable) LFP battery and at the time of filming this running on software version 2026.2.3.
