In this video I look around this very rare EV. It’s a Nissan E-NV200 with a tipper body. This is a conversion by Vic Young Ltd from South Shields, UK who take a standard E-NV200 panel van and converts it to a tipper. This is quite a feat as normally conversions like this start with a chassis cab vehicle. But chassis cabs are much larger vehicles and haven’t been available in electric for too long and are considerably more expensive than the E-NV200.
This conversion cost £12,000+VAT which is similar to the Voltia XL conversions (see https://youtu.be/_1PBV8-ZeTg?si=UlaBbZxXyMkuKdo8).
A small tipper would be ideal for gardeners, ground keepers or city litter collections. Being compact in size, zero emission and quiet, it would be ideal in urban environments and low or zero emission zones.
