Jazmin from Phoenix, Arizona, purchased her first electric vehicle when her daughter was 3 years old. Since then, she’s saved money on fuel, and the EV has become her family’s main car. “You won’t notice a difference between the two other than in your bank account.”
Through ownership of a zero-emission car, Jazmin taught her daughter the main difference between an EV and a gas-powered car–that there is no pollution when they drive or idle.
Besides contributing to cleaner air in her community, Jazmin’s EV journey is helping instill values in her daughter that little impacts can make a difference. “I want her to feel empowered and keep making good decisions. She is a small part that can really make a difference.”
