Video by Ludicrous Feed via YouTube
Source

Join Tom and Joy from Ludicrous Feed as they react to Tesla’s latest Full Self-Driving (FSD) engineering test video — the first ever right-hand drive demonstration released by the company, filmed on the streets of Melbourne, Australia. Key moments include a complex hook turn, pedestrian interactions, and various busy city driving scenarios. Discussion includes the significance of this being the first RHD FSD demo from Tesla; camera-based FSD and the ongoing debate around sensors; current limitations and future testing needed for a system like this; Safety, responsibility, and how regulators might view such a system ;Analogies to supervising learner drivers and implications for liability; Broader commentary on the potential for robotaxis and autonomous ride-sharing and commentary on whether FSD could ever become universally safer than human drivers. We also explore some philosophical and regulatory challenges that come with deploying FSD technology at scale — especially in countries like Australia | Video by Tom Gan (Tesla Tom) and Joy of Ludicrous Feed from Sydney Australia May 2025
