I know I’ll get a barrage of comments saying "my combustion engine car does this" — and yes, perhaps it does, but remote preheating is a standard feature on the vast majority of EVs. Even my cheap and cheerful old Leaf does it.
And with no exhaust pumping out, it’s a far healthier way of preheating the car. (And better than scraping ice or pouring warm water. Not boiling, folks!)
