Renault Megane E-Tech - Best in class, or best left alone?

Despite our love of SUVs and crossovers, the C-Segment sector of the market (those compact, 5 door family hatchbacks such as the Ford Focus and VW Golf) still account for over 40% of the UK market. So even with our shift towards full electrification, it is still a very important arena to be in. And we have some very talented players in there already, such as VW’s ID.3, Cupra’s Born, the Citroen e-C4 and the soon-to-be-launched MG4. And now, one of the original players in the EV market, Renault, have given us a new Megane. And this one is electric only. But does it have what it takes to take on the class best and be the car of choice in this lucrative market? In this week’s episode, we find out.
