Thanks for visiting the channel and welcome to the latest ‘real world’ EV video where I take the camera into the Brisbane Metro Open Day taking a ride on what is Australia’s largest capacity electric bus and having a look around the Depot facilities. This is public transport electrified in a BIG way.
In the video I we showcase:
– the Rochedale Metro Depot facilities and take you through the admin, drivers kitchen, lounge and gym.
– take a short ride around the Depot on the 150 seat, 100% battery electric articulated bus, the largest e-bus in Australia.
– three historical busses from the Brisbane public transport bus fleet from 1948 onwards.
– take a brief look at the new electric vehicle workshops onsite and a walk around the grounds looking at a couple markets stalls.
