Take a sneak peek at the first #Rivian DC fast charging location, adding six new stalls — one of them pull-through for trailers🎉 — in Strongsville, Ohio. This adds to the growing Rivian Adventure Network, which currently offers 40+ DCFC sites in 10 states, all exclusive to Rivian owners.
Another location is slated for Maumee, Ohio, but nothing is on the map yet. Rivian plans to add more than 3,500 DC fast chargers at around 600 locations in US and Canada. The original target for this was the end of 2024, but the DCFC landscape is changing rapidly… deals with Tesla and new NEVI funding from the government could also play a role, with Rivian expected to open up to all EVs at some point in the next 12-18 months.
In the meantime, Rivians owners have exclusive access and another site to watch in the Midwest as the Adventure Network build-out gathers pace.
