Self-Parking Tesla Vision v Hyundai Ioniq 5 with remote parking v BMW i3 - still a Tesla Fail?

Hi

Our first video with some self-parking cars was very popular (click this link or copy and paste if you havent seen it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsb2XBAIWyA ) and Tesla didn’t do too well…. AP1 was OK but AP2/Enhanced Autopilot with FSD didn’t do very well at all.

But now Tesla have changed to use Tesla Vision Autopilot and here we get to see that self parking aspect of that in action. Can they redeem themselves? Can they now self-park better?

Well we did say when we get more self parking cars we would do another video so here i have 3 electric vehicles with self parking so lets run antoher test, and this time it includes Tesla Vision! This is, as we discover no longer using the prking sensor and relies purely of the "vision" from its cameras and presumably it builds up some kind of 3d modelling of its surroundings.

Have a watch and see for yourself. BUt also with this we have the i3. OK, its an older car and not as sophicated but as it has the self parking feature lets try it.
And then we have the Ioniq 5 project 45. This has self parking but also remote parking so it can park itself without even being in the car. It is simply operated from the key!

So have fun and let me know what you think. I think its just quicker to park it yourself….
