Reinventing a brand can be a precarious, and tricky thing. Take Hyundai. For years they have been the purveyor of "worthy but dull" cars that have appealed to people who just need inexpensive, reliable cars that get them from A to B. Well, that is until recently. Now, they want to challenge the best that the industry has to offer, and the EV movement has allowed them to start to shift those preconceptions from "worthy" to ‘WOW!". We first saw this with the sensational Ioniq 5, born from their 45 Concept of 2019. And here we are again with another concept car, this time the 2020 Prophecy, that has escaped the motorshow stand and leapt onto the road as the new Ioniq 6.
But is it enough to sway you away from the market-leading Tesla Model 3 or even the fantastic Polestar 2 and sensational BMW i4? We were granted a morning with a car to bring you our first impression in another episode of ‘Sneak Peeks’…..and the early signs are looking good.
